Big Break 2008
Picture 700 college students in a conference room in Panama City Beach, Florida...ready for a week of spending time with friends, soaking up some sun, and sharing their faith in Christ! Big Break—Campus Crusade’s version of spring break—is not your typical experience. Students return to their campus, not with regrets about drunken times they barely remember, but pumped up to continue sharing their faith with those around them. During the four weeks of the conference, almost 17,000 conversations were initiated and over 1,000 people prayed to accept Christ into their lives. One student was able to pray with 12 members of a baseball team as they all accepted Christ into their life after he shared with them on the beach!

David spent a week up in Panama City Beach helping to create videos for the conference. It was a hectic week for him, as one of his teammates had to leave suddenly. The work they
did was great experience for him, and helped the conference connect well with the students and build excitement. Heather was a single mom in Orlando that week. She survived but it was a long week. A few nights Mikayla would come into our room in the middle of the night thinking it was time for breakfast. We were glad to be reunited after a long week, and glad for the opportunity to be part of Big Break in a more direct way. A video montage reviewing the first week that David made can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pILGQceB0aA

Family Update
We took part once again in the annual Easter Egg Hunt held at Lake Hart. It was a nice time to be with friends. We also talked about the meaning of Easter with Mikayla more. She knows that Jesus came back to life again. We are enjoying the beautiful mild weather here, as the kids love to go to the park and play outside. We currently have our house on the market, in hopes of being able to move to a better school district and gain a bit more space. We have had many showings but no offers yet—we would appreciate your prayers for God to lead a buyer to our house in today’s market.
