Another Transition
Just over a year ago we heard a vision of how we could be part of a team (the Innovation Center for Technology) that would be seeking to use technology (such as the Internet) to help reach the 60 million college students of the world. Our team would continue to serve the Campus Ministry by providing various design needs, but we would have an opportunity to try new ways to reach the unreached.

Honestly, it’s been a hard year, as we have struggled to see the vision realized. There have been a few projects such as ‘Touch’ that have captured the spirit of what we have wanted to do. However, much of the time our leadership for the team was absent due to the need for them to work on their personal support. Our hearts long to be productive and use our gifts to reach people for Christ.

In the midst of this, our team leader has followed God’s prompting and is leaving staff to take on a position with a local church (actually, our church). While we are excited for what the future holds for him, it leaves our team with many questions. Please pray for wisdom for the team’s future and a new leader that will help us have increasing success in reaching our target audience.

Big-Break.com
Thousands of college students flock to Panama City Beach, Florida for Spring Break each year. Campus Crusade students from all over the country also make the trip to take part in “Big Break.” While there, the students receive training in sharing their faith with others and apply what they learn as they initiate conversations on the beach. Last year, almost 700 students prayed to receive Christ as a result and seeds were planted as 7,900 heard the gospel message. This year, Heather was in charge of designing the web site for Big Break. More content was added and will be updated to help build excitement for students who will be attending. Practical information is conveyed as well as stories of how God used this conference in their lives.
