Praise God that
He is still at work drawing people to Himself.
Please pray for those who have made life- changing decisions such
as the women we mentioned.
And pray that we would have many more opportunities to be a part
of lives being changed. |

Now Live on the Web
Where can you go to see Heather’s landscape sketches of Arches,
get connected with powerful tools for sharing your faith, read our latest
prayer letter online and see David back when he had a fuller head of hair?
The answer to all of the above is www.nagyworld.com!
It’s been a wish of ours to have a website that would help us share
with both friends and support partners what we do and what we’re
about. This summer and fall, Heather had time to learn a program called
Dreamweaver that’s used to create websites. And www.nagyworld.com
is the result! Check it out, tell us what you think, what you like, or
if there’s something else you want to see there. We hope this can
be a non-threatening way for us (and you!) to share our ministry with
other friends.
After completing our website, Heather had a chance to use her new skills
to create one for the Global Women’s Leadership Forum. It’s
a conference coming up in the spring for international Crusade staff women
to be further developed and encouraged in their work.
TOUCHed
You may remember how we shared last month about TOUCH, a
Flash presentation tied to a website (www.whatistouch.org). We were excited
to hear from a student at Princeton who sent an instant message that simply
said, “OK, I’ve prayed the prayer. Now what do I do?”
A teammate interacted with her as she had more questions, especially about
the Holy Spirit. Efforts are being made to connect her to a local movement
of Christians, and she continues to email our teammate questions from
time to time.
While we know that the TOUCH website has had about 5,500 hits, our chat
feature has had less success, so we’ve discontinued that for now.
We know at least 1,600 people forwarded the email to their friends through
the website, but are unable to track those who forwarded by email. Much
of our job as we innovate involves trying new things, and learning what
does and does not work. Many of you had the chance to see TOUCH and send
it to your friends. Do you have any stories you can share with us? We’d
love to hear them.
“E”opportunities
On another fun note, friends on our team had been emailing
and praying for another college student who had visited the website www.everystudent.com
(that we help manage). She had many questions which our friends patiently
answered. The relationship continued as she struggled to understand and
believe in Christ. Our Bible study was praying for her one night, that
she would accept Christ into her life. We found out the next day that
she accepted Christ that night about the same time we were praying! God
is at work when we pray for people to know Him.
Heather and I each have an “e”opportunity. There is a school
here in Orlando that is for “at-risk” students (at risk of
dropping out, being violent, etc.). The school asked Campus Crusade for
email mentors that would write once a week to their students throughout
the school year. We look forward to this simple way to encourage a young
person and impact their life.
Thanks for your prayers and support!
