Ministry

“There comes into the life of every man a task for which he and he alone is uniquely suited. What a shame if that moment finds him either unwilling or unprepared for that which would become his finest hour.”—Winston Churchill

Innovation Center for Technology
(A ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ)

Our Mission

Combining technology and ministry to effectively and efficiently communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to emerging generations in every nation...every moment...every day.

• Winning Hearts, Minds, Laborers
• Building Tools, Disciples, Partnerships
• Sending bits where people cannot go

The Need

A war for the minds and souls of our young people is underway. They live in a culture that uses the Internet & media to socialize, communicate, get news, study, learn, listen to music, and even take tests. Technology is the greatest influence on their way of life.

While the church remains about 10 years behind in adopting new technology, less than 9 percent of those born after 1980 attend regularly. Clearly, the church is unprepared and unable to reach out in a relevant way to our emerging generations.

The Solution

The ICT is committed to the development of tools and methods to harness the power of technology to reach out to the lost, lead them to Christ, and equip them as servants of the Lord. The objective of the ICT is to create innovative applications of those new technologies and tactics.

We intend to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission by:

• Closing the gap between Silicon Valley and church adoption of new technologies
• Offering free, high-value content for emerging secular technologies
• Providing anonymous access for gospel investigation and exploration 24/7

Achievements

• Students are being saved every day—and at this moment—at the rate of 350 or more every month. It’s working!
• Trained volunteers on campuses currently managing custom response and ministry
• Individual follow-up being conducted daily to help those in spiritual need
• Marketing and brand recognition support materials fully developed to increase site traffic available at www.escmedia.org
• All media being leveraged: Internet, digital design, video, CD, DVD for Freshman Survival Kit content

The Campus Ministry

History & Mission

Bill and Vonette Bright started Campus Crusade for Christ as a campus ministry in 1951. The underlying concept was to "win the campus today and change the world tomorrow." More than 50 years later, the mission remains the same.

There are more than 60 million college students worldwide. To reach tomorrow's leaders, the Campus Ministry has several strategies.
